First we want you to understand that we will never knowingly share, give, or mention your visit, or any of your information, with anyone else, anywhere. "Period". We value you highly as our visitor and want you to be comfortable with your visit and in the use of our resources.

That said, you must already know that anytime you visit any website on the internet, all domain hosting servers do a few things the very same way as the others, every time:

  • Servers automatically collect and store the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet; the Internet protocol (IP) address of the computer you are using; the browser you use, and the brand and version of your operating system. It also records the date and time you access the site, and the Internet address of any other site from which you may have linked directly to that site.
  • Servers use this information to determine the number of visitors to different sections of the site, to ensure the sites are working properly, and to help owners make the site more useful. If certain pages receive no visitors the owner may reconsider its value to the website.
  • The servers hosting The Lawton Group do not use any means whatsoever to track or record any private information about individuals such as their name or other personal information. If we should open any sections that require visitors to "sign-in" (there are none presently) our server will automatically use "cookies" for visitors who frequent those pages. Those cookies will neither be persistent nor devious, and will generally self-delete after one month of inactivity, depending on the perceived frequency of members visits. All that type of cookie would do is help you sign-in more quickly. If you don't visit regularly, no sense in the server maintaining the cookie so it self-deletes.
  • We do not share any information with any third parties. Period. The only possible exception to this could be by order of a court or warrant for server log information in which case such required records would be made available to the court with jurisdiction.
  • If you use an email client to contact us and you do not encrypt the message, it could be read by any server between your ISP and ours. If you send us a message that requires consultation with a third party, that message will be subject to their privacy policy. If you would like to use email that is encrypted from your keyboard to the receiver, the easiest method is to obtain a "digital signature" from a certifying authority identifying you. If you need assistance in accomplishing that, we can assist you. Many top companies offer free digital signatures for personal use. One of our favorite security companies is Comodo, a fine company based, owned, and paying taxes, in the good old U.S.A.

And that is our Privacy Policy.
